Military wife for 22 of their 36 years of marriage, Judge Calabria understands the importance of supporting our nation's military families.

Judge Ann Marie Calabria, her husband, and children moved to Cumberland County, North Carolina in 1979. She has been married for 36 years to Colonel (R) Robert D. Calabria, a Vietnam Veteran. After over 24 years of service to our country in the U.S. Army Dental Activity, he retired in May 2001 and practices in Cumberland, Robeson, and Wake Counties. They have three children: two daughters, one son, a son-in-law, and two granddaughters.

Gina: Age 32, has her Bachelors Degree in Communications from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Masters Degree in Education from North Carolina State University. She is married to William Alexander Kirkland, III and they have two daughters.

Laura: Age 28, has her Bachelors Degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University and her Masters in Accounting from University of Florida. She is employed as an accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Brent: Age 21, is currently a junior at North Carolina State University majoring in Mathematics.

Family has always come first. Judge Calabria with her husband, three children, son-in-law, and two granddaughters.
