  • Certified as a Juvenile Court Judge through the Administrative Office of the Courts, the Institute of Government in Chapel Hill and the Office of Juvenile Justice: included study in juvenile law, family dynamics, education issues and child development. The training increases a judge's awareness of and gives special emphasis to the needs of children. Training is voluntary.
